Wow. I can't believe that I am actually doing the very last thing! Can this really be happening?! :) Well looking back on this whole experience, I enjoyed learning and doing the things that we did this semester on learning 2.0. I feel like I was pretty tech-savvy before we started all of this (even though according to Abby's test, I'm not a digital native...) but I definitely feel way more confident to try more things and to do more things. I have learned a ton of new things by doing this blog. Some of the things I probably won't ever use again like Twitter or Flickr, but there are other things that I have been using over and over since learning them such as embedding videos on my blog, tag clouds, blogging (obviously!), and Skype. Some of the things that we did were a lot more time consuming than others and more frustrating to learn. I feel like I was eventually able to figure those things out though which gave me a little more confidence when it comes to learning new things.
Overall this was my favorite assignment this semester. I liked that I learned lots of new technology. I loved being able to show my husband and other people the cool things that I had made...and in fact, I am making a wordle thing for my husband for our anniversary:) Halfway through this semester my husband and I got a new iMac desktop for home and I have loved learning the new technology on that because it is so much easier and faster than on our old computer! I also really liked that the assignments were spaced out and that it was just one thing a week because I felt like that was really do-able and a good way to stay on top of a big assignment. I hope that some of these things I will continue to use in the future, but now I know that I am capable of doing it!!
